On 6 January 2005 , YBhg. Dato' Ismail bin Dollah Harun, Director General of Lands and Mines, accompanied by his deputy, YBhg. Dato' Jasmil bin Hj. Ghani, paid an official visit to the Gerbang Selatan Bersepadu (GSB) project in Johor Bahru. Also present in his entourage are Tn Hj Supuddin bin Awang, Director of the Enforcement and Federal Revenue Section and his assistant, En. Mahadi Mohamed together with KTMB representatives; En. Mohd Nasir bin Nordin, General Manager of Property and Tn Hj Hamdan Husori bin Hj. Abd Samad, Manager of Southern Region.
His arrival at the JB Office was greeted by YB Dato' Yahya A. Jalil, Managing Director of Gerbang Perdana Sdn Bhd (GPSB), Ir. Anton Sebastian, Construction Director of JKR, Tn Hj Rostam Razali, Operations Director of GPSB and representatives of KTMB, JKR and staff of GPSB. |

His visit commenced at 4.30p.m. with a GSB Project Progress briefing and visual presentation by Ir. Anton Sebastian. After a group photograph session, the entourage was taken for a tour of the new CIQ Complex under construction whereby YBhg. Dato' Ismail was briefed on the ongoing works by Tn Hj Rostam. |

Before ending the visit, YBhg. Dato' Ismail and entourage proceeded to the exhibition hall where they viewed some images on display. He was also briefed on the project model by YB Dato' Yahya. Later, all guests were treated to a hi-tea before they bid their farewell at 6.45 p.m. |
