YB Dato' Paduka Abdul Kadir Sheikh Fadzir made a working visit to the Gerbang Selatan Bersepadu Project site. This was YB Dato' Kadir's first visit to the site.
Accompanied by the Managing Director of Gerbang Perdana, Dato' Yahya A. Jalil to the project's site office in Bukit Chagar, Johor Bahru, YB Dato' Paduka Kadir Sheikh Fadzir's arrival was received by En. Rostam Razali, Operations Director, Ir. Anton Sebastian of JKR and other senior managers of Gerbang Perdana. |

At the site office, YB Dato' Paduka Kadir Sheikh Fadzir was shown the Gerbang Selatan Bersepadu project model before being taken to the viewing deck of the site office to view the CIQ Complex site under construction. On hand to brief YB Dato' Paduka Kadir on the progress of works for the integrated Customs, Immigration and Quarantine Complex (CIQ) was Ir. Anton Sebastian. |

Before departing, YB Dato' Paduka Kadir was presented with a memento (in a form of a rock removed from the causeway) by YB Dato' Yahya A. Jalil before being treated to lunch at the site office canteen. |
