Johor Bahru, 6 September 2004. The Ministry of Home Affairs’ Secretary General. Y. Bhg. Dato’ Seri Aseh Che Mat accompanied by Y. Bhg. Dato’ Jamal bin Kamdi, the Director General of the Immigration Department of Malaysia paid an official visit to the Gerbang Selatan Bersepadu (GSB) project site in Johor Bahru, representing Y.B. His arrival at the JKR-GSB site office was greeted and received by Y. Bhg. Dato’ Yahya A. Jalil, Managing Director of Gerbang Perdana Sdn Bhd (GPSB), and Ir. Anton Sebastian, Construction Director of JKR, Y.Bhg. Dato’ Jamal bin Kamdi, the Director General of the Immigration Department of Malaysia, Y. Bhg. Tuan Haji Abu Bakar bin Yeop, the Director of
Immigration Department of Johor, representatives of state government and directors of GPSB. |

His visit commenced with the viewing of the new Customs, Immigration and Quarantine (CIQ) Complex under construction at the project site followed by a briefing by Ir. Anton Sebastian, Construction Director of JKR and Tuan Haji Rostam Razali, Operations Director of GPSB. A comprehensive presentation on the project status was later held at the GPSB site office followed by a short tour of the office. |
