At 4.00p.m. Monday, 15 January 2007 , a simple ceremony was held at the Coordination & Distribution Center (CDC) in Gerbang Perdana Sdn Bhd (GPSB), JB office, to hand over flood relief items to The Malaysian Red Crescent Society.
At the ceremony, Y.Bhg. Dato' Khalid Mohamad Jiwa and wife, Y.Bhg. Datuk Siti Nurhaliza donated their contributions through Yayasan Nurjiwa. Among others who contributed their relief supplies were Datin Mahmudah Mohd Ali, wife of Managing Director GPSB (representing GPSB), Puan Badariah A. Jalil (representing TV3) and Y.B. Dato' Yahya A. Jalil, Managing Director of GPSB (representing Yayasan Pendidikan Cheras & UMNO Bahagian Cheras). |

Y.Bhg. Datuk Siti Nurhaliza, at a press conference after the ceremony, said “We will help in whatever way we can, but the important thing is, it is our shared responsibility to help those flood victims who need assistance”.
From GPSB's office, Y.Bhg. Datuk Siti Nurhaliza and entourage proceeded to the Relief Centres in Sekolah Kebangsaan Permas Jaya I, Dewan Orang Ramai Plentong and Sekolah Agama Kg. Melayu Pandan to visit the flood victims and hand over relief items such as sugar, rice, flour, biscuit, tea, towel etc. |

The event ended at 8.30p.m. whereby Y.Bhg. Datuk Siti Nurhaliza & Y.Bhg. Dato' Khalid Mohamad Jiwa were treated to a dinner at Y.B. Dato' Yahya A Jalil's residence.
