The Deputy Minister of Finance I, YB Dato' Dr. Shafie Bin Haji Mohd Salleh, paid an official visit to the Gerbang Selatan Bersepadu project site in Bukit Chagar as part of his tour of duty of the Malaysian Royal Customs. His visit came 2 months after the official visit by The Deputy Minister of Finance II, YB Dato' Dr. Ng Yen Yen.
YB Dato' Shafie was received by Gerbang Perdana's Managing Director, Dato' Yahya A. Jalil, Ir. Anton Sebastian, General Manager (Construction) JKR, and other senior officials of Gerbang Perdana. |

At the site office, YB Dato' Dr. Shafie was given a briefing on the project model by Dato' Yahya before proceeding to the viewing deck of the site office to view the Integrated CIQ Complex site under construction. He was also briefed on the current progress of the project by Ir. Anton Sebastian. Before departing, YB Dato' Dr. Shafie was treated to some light refreshments during which Dato' Yahya presented him with a memento. |
