On 12 August 2005 , Y Bhg. Tan Sri Halil bin Abd Mutalib, Director General of Customs, accompanied by Tuan Haji Sarmin Md Hussin, Director for the Johor State Royal Customs Department made an official visit to Gerbang Selatan Bersepadu (GSB) project in Johor Bahru. Also present in his entourage are 12 custom officials from Johor State Royal Customs Department.

Y Bhg. Tan Sri Halil bin Abd Mutalib was received by Ir Ng Ah Kow, General Manager Construction (Road and Bridges) of JKR GSB, Tuan Hj Rostam Razali, Operations Director of Gerbang Perdana Sdn. Bhd and senior officials of GPSB.
